The exterior of Geppettos house is seen on this rare sheet. A celebrated Swedish artist and illustrator, Gustav Tenggren worked at the Disney studio from 1936 to 1939 on concept work for Snow White and Pinocchio. Walt wanted the films to have the look of 19th century European storybooks and personally brought Tenggren in to work with the other artists on atmosphere and design. This premium-sized vintage photostat sheet is filled with the rich drawing that has made him one of the most highly regarded Disney artists to this day.
